Adjusted Taxi Fares for Western Australia 2 December 2006
Metropolitan Area
There are three taxi-fare structures, referred to as “Tariffs”.
Tariff 1: - Weekdays
Applies: Monday to Friday from 6 am to 6 pm. Flag fall: $ 330 Distance (k/ m) rate: $ 1.35 Detention (waiting charge) $38.65 per hour
Tariff Two: - Weeknights and Weekends
Applies: Monday to Friday from 6 pm to 6 am
Friday 6 pm to Monday 6 am
All day public holidays Flag fall: $ 4.80 Distance k/m) rate: $ 1.35 Detention (waiting charge) $38.65 per hour
Tariff Three:- Whenever more than five passengers are carried (only applied to vehicles manufactured to carry 6 or more adult passengers)
Flag fall: $4.80 Distance (k/m) rate: $1.99 Detention: $59.90
Ultra Peak Surcharge - Between midnight Friday to 5 am Saturday, and midnight Saturday to 5 am Sunday
Surcharge: $2.00
Xmas Day
Surcharge: $4.00
New Year
Surcharge: $4.50
New Year's Eve between 6 pm 31st December and 6 am lst January.
Other Charges:
Toll The amount of any toll during a hiring
Multiple Hiring 75% of metered fare payable at each destination
Taxi Call Out Fee
(All hirings booked through a taxi dispatch service
attract a surcharge of $1.50 that may be added to
the metered fare, or in the case of off-metered fare,
or in the case of off-metered hirings the
calculated fare,at the termination of the hiring.) $1.50
