The Winkless family name is famous within the trucking industry, with the first Volvo truck arriving into Australia in 1966, thanks to Max Winkless and his vision to bring European precision and power to Australia’s tough terrain and we have never looked back – with our partnership with Volvo Group Australia spanning over 50 years.
The new dealership headquarters is part of an overall $165M investment partnership in the australian truck industry with global heavy duty manufacturer Volvo Trucks. Over the last few years, the Winkless family have invested heavily into our dealerships as part of our constant commitment into improving our infrastructure and services to our customers.
It will be home to over 150 dealership staff designed to strengthen the collaboration between our individuals, departments and our global brands. The new build will see the amalgamation of current sites Kewdale and Guildford – bringing our new truck sales, accounts, administration, parts and service departments together in one site to help increase productivity and uptime.
The state of the art dealership features 26 service bays, dedicated drivers rest rooms, onsite roller brake testing and shaker, new training areas and is based on an even larger site to accommodate more vehicles and future growth.
Our sales, administration, accounts and corporate support departments now operate from our new headquarters, with Kewdale parts and service relocating between 4-6th December. More information to follow.
